Our commitment
Lumen Painting respects your privacy. We collect only the information we need to answer you, prepare your estimate and do the work you ask for, and we protect it in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect through this website
- Estimate requests: your name, phone number, email, postal code and address if you give it, details about the job and any photos you upload.
- Chat: the questions you type are sent to our AI provider to write an answer. If you ask for an estimate in the chat, the details you give are saved as an estimate request. Please don't share anything sensitive in the chat.
- Newsletter: your email address and your consent to receive emails.
- Quotes: when you view or accept a quote online, we record the date, the name you type and your network address as proof of acceptance.
- Spam protection: our forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that a real person is sending them. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. We keep only whether the check passed and its score.
How we use it
To reply to you, book estimate visits, prepare quotes, schedule and carry out the work, keep records of the colours and products used at your property, and, only if you subscribe, send occasional tips and offers. We never sell your information.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored with our service providers (database, email and website hosting) and is accessed only by our team. Photos you upload with an estimate request are kept private and are not shown on our website unless you agree.
Email marketing
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can also unsubscribe by contacting us.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct your personal information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing [email protected].
